Kama Suddath
Fulfillment Manager, Denver

I came out of college
determined to save the environment. I worked as an organizer for
4 years on predominantly environmental campaigns, then went to
law school at the University of Denver College of Law. I saw suing
polluters as the next step for me. I worked for 4 years filing
lawsuits against companies like Exxon, Conoco, home developers
and the United States Air Force.
In 2004, I watched my friends pound the pavement for Kerry and
it really hit me that if they were successful, they would have
much more of an impact on our country and on the issues I cared
about, then I ever could suing one polluter at a time. I made
the decision to come back to organizing. In 2006, I worked on
MoveOn.org's campaign to take back Congress. Last year I worked
on a campaign to elect Barack Obama.
I started with Telefund in Dec. 2008. I am so excited to work
for Telefund and help build up progressive organizations, their
donor base and their campaigns.
